The reality of pain, the power of hope, and the renewed commitment to raising awareness for foster youth.

Pain is real, but so is hope. AbstractAsh was created from that truth. My art is born from the moments that hurt and the moments that heal, painting a world where darkness doesn’t win and where resilience becomes something you can see and feel.

It has been too long since I’ve raised awareness for the struggling youths that exist in ALL of our communities. As a former foster kid, I know the reality behind the statistics: the fear, the instability, and the heartbreak of being removed from home with nothing but a trash bag for your belongings, IF you're lucky and are able to actually grab anything at all. That single moment can make a child feel disposable, like their memories and identity can be thrown away.

I refuse to let that be their story.

In a short video filmed at the Texas Capitol in Austin, I speak about why youth recovery communities matter: they give young people a place to belong, to grow, and to rise. I share how we took struggling teens and helped them become the light for others by delivering backpacks to children in foster care, turning their own healing into hope for someone else and had the honor to present how that community helped brighten my journey allowing me to find myself and gave me resources to help me not only heal, but truly succeed.

Now, I’m using my platform to continue that mission. A portion of every profit from each purchase goes toward providing a backpack or blanket to a nonprofit organization supporting children and families affected by the foster care system. Every order becomes a small act of dignity, a reminder that no child is disposable, and that hope can be something you hold in your hands.

AbstractAsh IS Ashes Light -

Pain is real.

26,381 young people spend 3–4 years in foster care Over 33% experience more than two placements every year

But so is Hope.

Providing comfort items like backpacks and blankets is more than a gesture; it is a trauma-informed intervention that restores dignity, supports emotional health, and fosters stability for children in foster care. It signals to the child that they are valued, cared for, and part of a supportive community.

And together, we can be the lighthouse.

From the Ashes,

Light.
